Jeff Clark, George Mason B.A. ‘02 |
|
Wrestling: Coach Clark was a three time letterman in college. He wrestled at NCAA Division II Gardner-Webb University from 96-97 at 118lbs and NCAA Division I George Mason University from 99-01 at 125lbs, were he was a member of the 2001 Colonial Athletic Association Championship team. Coach Clark wrestled in High School for Chancellor where he was a Battlefield District Champion, a Region II Champion and two-time All-State wrestler, placing 3rd in 1996 and 6th in 1995. Coaching: Coach Clark has coached a State Finalist, 7 All-State, 28 State Qualifiers , 2 Regional Champions, 9 Regional Finalists & 13 District Champions. While coaching at Riverbend the team was the 2005 Western Sectional Champion and 2007 Battlefield District Champion. 07-Present: Assistant Spotsylvania 04-07: Assistant Riverbend 98-99: Assistant Massaponax 97-98: Assistant Chancellor Personal/Family: Married to wife Meaghan, residing in Spotsylvania County with their daughter, Scarlett and two dogs; Morgan and Dakota, Father, Ray Clark was a1967 State Champion for Spotsylvania and wrestled collegiately at Ohio University. Brother, Mark was a All-State wrestler and Regional Champion at Courtland and wrestled in college at Old Dominion University. Coach Clark is employed by Booz Allen Hamilton working in Project Management and is currently working on his M.B.A at Virginia Tech. |

Joe Wood |
|
Wrestling: Coach Wood wrestled in High School for Orange where he was a three time Jefferson District Champion, a Region II Runner-up and All-State wrestler, placing 3rd in 2004. Coach Wood placed 5th at the 2005 Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association Eastern National Championships. Coaching: Coach Wood has coached 9 State Qualifiers, 2 All-State, a Regional Champion, 3 Regional Finalists and a 6 District Champions. 06-Present: Head Coach Spotsylvania 05-06: Assistant Herndon Personal: Coach Wood currently resides in Locust Grove, VA and is the owner of Wood Contracting.
